A Steven Stelz Pate de Verre Aquatic Lamp boasting a collaboration of an Art Pottery Lamp Base by Peace Valley Tile & Pate de Verre glass shade by Stelz. Overall height measures just short of 20” with a shade diameter of 12”. Condition is superb. The shades of color to both the pottery base and the frothy glass shade seem to fluctuate with the ever-changing light throughout the day ~ the lucky recipient of this remarkable lamp will get to experience this on a daily basis. What I have previously described is a testament to the skill of Steven Stelz who very successfully reinvented pate de verre ~ to you Mr. Stelz, I tip my hat. I only we could transport a critic from the “Studio” magazine to present day as I wish to read their glowing review of such an incredible product. Lastly, the spider / shade support, sockets, and electrical components are solid brass and exceptional quality as one would expect from Stelz.
