British Art Nouveau Doulton Lambeth Large Art Pottery Vase decorated by Eliza Simmance. She was highly regarded by her contemporaries yet often overshadowed by the Barlow sisters ~ clearly an imaginative decorator as this vase demonstrates. Such pure Art Nouveau examples rarely surface. This example is tall measuring 14 3/4” high. The condition is excellent and undamaged. Further, the execution is superior having crisp line details and control of color that do not bleed from their intended locations. Very fine example.
