Designed by Rudolf Marschall, produced by Meyr’s Neff, and probably commissioned by Lobmeyr ~ ~ “Little Trees” as this line was called and was part of a series of vases that Rudolf Marschall designed. The line was first exhibited at the 1901/1902 Austrian Museum Art & Industry Winter Exhibition and subsequently at the 1902 Esposizione Internazionale d’Art Decorativa Moderna in Turin. Highly textured surface presumably cameo / acid cut back and forest green in color. This uncommon, perhaps rare, little gem stands a humble 4 1/8” tall. Condition is perfect with only minute loss to its gilt decor.
