A Sizable Ferdinand Von Poschinger Art Glass Vase with Bronze Mount. Nearly 15 inches tall. Excellent & Undamaged Condition. Bronze mount is engraved with a date of 1908 and an unidentified name. Glass is unmarked. It seems apparent that an architect’s hand and eye are connected with this architectural form; further, this is what makes the study of Art Nouveau glass fascinating ~ who designed this vase? Reference page 80 of Christiane Sellner’s book, “Glaserner Jugendstil Aus Bayern” for the identical form with enamel decoration.
