American Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Serving Utensils by William B. Durgin. Pattern: Lily. Circa 1900. Note that both objects are marked Sterling though neither possess makers marks due to the fact that Durgin silver manufacturing company was merged with Gorham over a period of time beginning just after the turn of the century. Gorham produced the same pattern shortly after absorbing Durgin ~ such history! I urge interested parties to venture deeper into these two companies. The combined weight of these two pieces is just over 10 troy ounces ~ heavy for their size. Condition is excellent, undamaged, and clean though a few sporadic superficial scratches from minor use are present.

$695 / both
