Circa 1900 Dressel, Kister & Co. Porcelain Figurine of sophisticated form and subject matter depicting a woodsman or logger. Sculptor is unknown by us; clearly, a skilled hand without succumbing to the usual frilly garish figurines that are so prevalent at the turn of the century. Simply put ~ it’s better than most in every respect ~ crisp details, interesting subject matter, & highly figurative. Measures approximately 6” high and 5” wide. Condition is perfect, crisp, and clean.
